I have an old "Japanese for American Servicemen" type booklet. It has many helpful phrases like "I will pay you to shave me," and "Where are the American Servicemen?"

Taken all in all, it is a hilarious read that comes across very differently from how they might have intended it.

If you're learning Japanese and are at the beginner/intermediate phase I found Japanese the Manga Way super helpful actually. It uses more real world examples and actually had really solid explantations of different grammar points. Also it's not super expensive.
