One thing worth noting about LGR is that he's a dual citizen of the US and Saint Lucia (which is 85% black) and he's pretty cool with that so I'd say his chances of being a chud are very small. I must admit, I was a little concerned that he never said anything when the drama with Ion Fury unfolded, given his glowing review of it, but I can understand not wanting to be involved with the politics at all.

Wow, thanks for alerting me to why I will be taking Ion Fury off my wishlist. And here I thought the weirdest thing about this whole game was LGR rolling his eyes at them having to change the name, despite it being a clear-cut "they were 100% trying to cash in on name recognition and even similarly nostalgic design" case.

He actually tweeted at 3D Realms/Voidpoint asking for a clarification on what exactly transpired there but I think that’s about it. I think this was after somebody tweeted at him about it, so it’s not like he’s entirely out of the loop. It’s kind of a weird case anyway since first the devs doubled down, then walked it back and then tripled down after all the assholes started crying about censorship and telling they would be refunding and reviewbombing the game they literally just bought to ”piss off the SJWs”. I can’t exactly blame LGR for wanting no part in that mess.

Anyone notice old Sony Remote Controls all have a loop for a lanyard? Pictured is PS2 Media Remote, PS3 Media Remote and Muteki AV receiver: I've only EVER seen/noticed it with Sony stuff.

I know this is the Tech Relic thread, but since we've talked about Techmoan in here, and Digital Audio Players may as well be tech relics at this point...   He did a video on the Activo CT10 Sega Saturn edition, and once I saw it I immediately imported one. For a DAP, it's pretty good: While the screen is a bit too small, it works well enough and the erogomics of it are quite good. The volume wheel also has a nice click to it, it's just fun to play around with. Apple Music "works" on it, but only just. The interface isn't built well for this size of the device. Having said that though, the actual audio quality of the thing is great. And it's just unique enough that I like the dang thing.

I hate when Techmoan does modern stuff because I immediately want to buy it until I realize it is several hundred dollars and I don't need it because I just listen to spotify sometimes on my phone in my car.
