The same way the dog takes the "legendary artifact" if you're able to access it.

like you can say he's so tough, but that doesn't stop him from getting insanely owned in the genocide ending. You could cut all of Papyrus parts from the game, and give his screen time to Sans, and the game would be infinitely better.

as opposed to...almost literally every other monster you encounter dying in one hit. even undyne dies in a single hit. she just pulls herself back together(after literally being bisected) through the power of determination and fights on.

Papyrus is tougher than your average monster and that's even when holding back due to how nice he is.
