My local game parlor is going to do a miniature painting event. They've got a local person who has a couple prizes for painting figures and $20 gets you an open bar and a miniature to paint. Paints and brushes will be provided as well. As much as I don't want to paint I'm thinking about going. It isn't until December though so I won't have any results to post for a bit

Their faction symbol is a ram skull so I just googled "vector ram skull" and found one I liked. I didn't have any wet wipes or steel wool for the marble so I went with dryer sheet

As in, sticky right out of the box? Mine is and I'm not sure what to do about it and if it's not gonna deteriorate over time. Unless I find out more, I think I'll just give it a thorough wash with industrial soap, then prime and paint like normal. It's kinda weird since it's the only model from the translucent red series that does it.

No, mine wasn't tacky. I did wash it, though. It is indeed weird AF painting onto that bare plastic without primer on it. What I got to stick looks good enough for the tabletop, though. Glad you like it e: wait, is yours red? Mine came in the orange color that is still showing.
