didn't he also get really mad about ONE who made two webcomics which became hugely popular anime and redrawn into a legit manga by actual artists with him as a writer because he's not really good at art. i remember him making a really angry rant that someone with no art skill actually became popular and successful. it's funny because while ONE isn't a artist, he does try to learn and improve, unlike dobson.

I remember Dobson talking about how his college roommate was a "weird" guy who was constantly creating wildly different drawings and sculptures and it was unfair he got a job at Disney and/or Cartoon Network while Dobson had the *~true~* passion for cartooning. I don't know if it ever got through to him that his roommates constant creating probably made the roommate a more competent and well-rounded cartoonist for a studio. I never got big into the Buckley hate but I read too much of the Dobson hating megathread years ago. Hopefully he's gotten to a better place cause his comics started to become real negative after the thread brought him to goons attention.

He seems really fun to hang out with. Honestly, the sports thing pisses me off the most. Well we can all agree that Dobson, while having a troubled past which can be empathised with.. Does not make it any easier through the way he has or currently acts regarding criticism. Also, yeah bullying loving sucks and can gently caress you up, but though I cant put a name on it, making a comic about it like... Just feels off, the dude needs therapy.

His style reminds me more of that than learn-how-to-draw-like-mangas.    In fact the bullies remind me of the baddies from the "Il était une fois" cartoons (but badly drawn)

I think the thing about Dobson that I remember most was his roommate - he made fun of his art-school roommate for always having some project or other underway, whether painting, sketching, animation or sculpture, the guy just wouldn't stop - his roomie got hired at Disney.
