I thought for that price it would definitely be a cheap piece that wouldn’t last long. Well I was wrong! This knife is awesome, and it’s held up great. I definitely recommend getting this if you are a WW2 enthusiast, or want to pay tribute to a family member who was in the hitler youth. Jan 24, 2018 (5 out of 5) Awesome knife I picked this knife up on sale for $6.98, and I don’t regret it. It came out of the box really sharp. The spring assist is fast, and the blade locks into place firmly. The overall design is cool, but be careful with the HJ emblem. It will definitely make some people upset if they see it.

BUDK has finally come full circle. Dave Messinger Sep 20, 2019 (3 out of 5) Cute and small I bought a couple of these because of their low price. Now that I have it in-hand, I'm not sure what I will do with it. It has a 1" "blade" that is NOT sharpened. The plasitc MOLLE is not attached to the rubberized sheath, it's 2-peices and wraps around it. Playing with it last night, the MOLLE attachment can snap on and off fairly easily... You could loose the knife/Shiv if the attachment comes apart. I think best use would be to tie it to a stick to make a spear. Otherwise, it's more novelty to me. That's my 2-cents. If someone has more ideas or a better use, I'm open to suggestion. In the meantime, kind-of fun to tinker and imagine what to do with this.

I was doing research at the Borders store at the mall and they had a big book of WW2 collectibles and I was going through it and this middle aged guy walks up to me and tells me if I'm interested in German war stuff he could help me out. I, a teen girl, gave him a polite brush off, not because I was thinking he was a Nazi but because he was a guy twenty years older than me getting cozy in a quiet corner of the store. I guess it wasn't impossible he was just into WW2 stuff, -my grandpa had a bayonet he took from a Nazi solider he used to open up paint cans, so it didn't really occur to me that Americans in this goddamned day and age could be sympathetic to loving Nazis. But the older I get, the more I realize this is unlikely. Also while looking for a picture of the pin I found out there's a Georgian chess champion named Nazi Paikize. Nazi means gentle in Georgian!
