Oh this is going to go over extremely well with gammons. Gammonbozia.quote:Meanwhile, it has emerged that Britons will remain subject to rulings of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) even if the UK leaves the EU on October 31. The Government published the 110-page WAB late last night in the Commons. It makes clear that the ECJ "continues to have effect in domestic law". gschmidl has issued a correction as of 07:56 on Oct 22, 2019 |

gschmidl posted:Oh this is going to go over extremely well with gammons. Gammonbozia. Totally unsurprising though. Only no-deal Brexit would end ECJ jurisdiction. Any transition/implementation period would continue ECJ for that period at least. The EU is not going to solely trust UK courts when it comes to upholding compliance.

By the time Brexit is finalized everyone who voted for it will be dead. And I guess that's exactly how they wanted it. Blitz spirit! But not for myself thank you.

BBC has gone real heavy on "Brexit's basically done and dusted and the PM has gotten further than May ever did, prepare to Brexit immediately!"BBC posted:Here it is. And here we go. The government has now published the pages and pages of new laws that need to be passed to make our departure from the EU happen. Then again it's known Tory Laura K, so.
