The level of dedication to the game depending on the game mode is not commonly shared between players. I think most don’t care about vs AI but to some it’s invaluable. You might just test out a champ in blind pick while others scoff at the idea that you haven’t even learned the best build yet. HOW DARE YOU! Ranked is the serious game mode, right? Where you play your best? Dude chill, lol. It’s not like we are in Diamond! I feel very competitive about ARAM right now, but I like to think it is just because winning earns me more tokens, and I craaave those skins and that orange essence. I imagine after the event pass is over I’ll be back to building full crit on some non-AD champions.

play ranked with /mute all and enjoy the complete random factor that is the 9 other players in the game. try to find the autofilled first timing janna player and farm them until they are worth less gold than a cannon minion

Not true. While Dark Harvest is extremely good for a lot of characters, tanks still want their tanking runes and ADC types crave Lethal Tempo or Fleet Footwork. Healing runes (Legend: Bloodline, Taste of Blood, Ravenous Hunter), Transcendence, and Gathering Storm are also impossibly valuable; basically, anything that lets you self-sustain and get around the inherent limitations of ARAM, or stacking CDR/damage when you can't. Leveraging said CDR into spamming CC is also a surefire way to win. Item-wise, rules of thumb include maxing out Lethality/Magic Penetration cause hardly anyone builds defenses, buying Gargoyle Stoneplate when you ARE building defenses (its passive makes it by far the best value general defensive item), and skipping the lovely Guardian Items. Hammer/Orb have no niche whatsoever, while the Horn is only good on melee/tank characters that have no early means of self-healing, and therefore need the health regen. Warwick is pretty good, because you suppress people with your ult so their superlow cooldowns won’t help them. Your E is also up a lot. They can’t do much when they flee either. Yes and his winrate is 47% and like 44% in masters with like 15% pick rate. Know why? Cause if he’s overturned they don’t play him support. We’ll see what happens with the new support items but I doubt much will change.

It’s just usually a minute of nonsense but it bothers me because I like ARAM and I just want to play more ARAM.
