Haven't seen a 944 turbo this cheap in ages. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/monterey-1986-porsche-944-turbo/6999724818.html Dunno how this hasn't been snapped up already. It's way too far from me to feel like dealing with it.

Dang, crazy how good that looks for 180k miles. A turbo may not be the best route for me to go anyway because I'm looking (dreaming?) about an 07k swap. It'd be cheaper to go with non-turbo to start with.

Does California require inspection or emission stickers to be posted on the window? Small time car dealers for some reason remove those stickers from their auction cars for some rear end in a top hat reason.

It's a pain in the rear end for the seller but nice for the buyer. Here in New Mexico, you can try and get the seller to go to the emissions place on your test drive but I've never had one agree.

I don't care for the fender-exit exhaust or the fuel cell placement, but other than that, there's not too much butchery. Would not mind having that 8.8 axle for mine, just in case I decide I need more than 100 lb.ft. Yeah a Jeep Wrangler has to be one of the easiest cars to paint if you just take off the top and cover the interior, and they were just like gently caress that spray the seat belts

I've seen Maaco paint jobs like this a dozen times. Even if the paint turned out decent there is ALWAYS overspray somewhere where you're just like, "How, why? Was the guy retarded?"

When I bought my C2 it had a years-old paintjob like that. Overspray on the tires, the soft top, underbody/steering/suspension, inside the a-pillar, and all of the door, hood, rear deck weatherstripping is completely painted over.
