YES and you're in luck because I actually managed to find a work around if you have tampermonkey (or something similar installed) you can grab this script and then follow these instructions to get it working...

3. Click on the menu at top left and go to APIs & Services>Library
4. Search for youtube, and click on YouTube Data API v3

7. Select the YouTube Data API v3. I don't know if it matters where you will be calling the API from; I selected Chrome application as I thought that was the closest thing to a Web Extension. Select Public data and click on What credentials do I need?

9. (Home stretch) Edit the script - not sure how to do this with Greasemonkey; Violentmonkey has a button for it under the script name on the Dashboard page. At line 634, edit the line to match the image posted by moh82sy earlier: https://i.imgur.com/Z2LR1vv.png Paste your API key in where the blacked out bit is on the image. Save the script, and it should be working again!

Bit of a hassle but I managed to get it working again, hopefully you can too.

That looks like how I have mine and it works for me. Is it possible to remake the key and try again? Also make sure the script is actually running on the page as I don't it was enabled by default for me.

Oh well, unlike the video unbiggening Tampermonkey script, this one's probably not as big of a life improvement.

Mine works (obviously replace "xxxxxxx" with your key, which should look something like "AIzabcdefg_x-PQ-mnopQRsTUv-wxyZq"). I'm so happy I got this working again, it never occurred to me that it broke because the dev rotated out his own key that was obfuscated in the script itself.

Possibly your key has a character in it that needs to be escaped, like '=' or '&'?

If that's not the cause, then maybe you added API restrictions to the key that prevent your client from using it?

I really appreciate the efforts to help me out, I just keep striking out. The key has no = or &, and here is what the credentials for it look like:

The same page shows it as having been "used" 20 times.
