I know they all do it but it’s just so obvious with him. I looked up his constituency to see what his majority is in the hope he might be gone soon but lol nope, Braintree is extremely safe Tory - he’s safe there until Boris needs to hijack it for himself

So local tory MP who got 53% in 2017 has sent out a bit of trash election leaflet that has the 2015 results on it(he lost 36.6%-36%) and is claiming its going to be close. I think and hope that someone might be a little bit worried

Definitely been getting that sense the last few days, yeah. It feels more like pre-emptive whining about Labour's policies from a lot of quarters than actual attempts to stop them. Of course it could be a brilliant Dom Cummies plot to lull us into a false sense of security and we shouldn't get complacent, but... *Gestures at how much energy there is for Labour*

Things do feel good today, but don’t get complacent. Talk to everyone you can about it. I asked two people on the train yesterday if they were registered to vote, and I have majorly broken the “no talking about politics at work” rule this week. This is the most important election I’ve ever taken part in, so much more so than the brexit one. There are so many stories of people having a terrible, terrible time - just pick one and tell it to as many people as you can. We are on the cusp of destiny here my dudes, we have one chance to save millions of people from miserable lives and lovely deaths at the hands of the tories and however good things might look it is going to be loving close. It is shocking how much ignorance there is out there so we’ve got to spread the word of how things are and how they might be. I am going to bang on about this so much even the ukmt will get annoyed Edit jesus christ

And ended up swinging from a disgusting Tory voting libertarian to a full-blown socialist well to the left of Corbyn as a result. I didn't know about this until now. Really interesting story.
