I have literally never had this problem. Even with a chase credit card merchants in Beijing were able to drag out the card reader. In more bumfuck areas cash is still king. The point is disingenuous anyway, WeChat just allowed you to link foreign credit cards to your WeChat ID

If you want to do the whole book, you probably can start a new Asian history/geopolitic literature thread in D&D and link the chapters here. I m always in the market for new Asian related nonfiction audiobooks. I am only interested in bring up/translate very selected paragraphy and do my own commentary on it. whatever7 has issued a correction as of 00:49 on Nov 12, 2019 |

If the game time limit thing isn't trivially circumvented, it could drive some sort of indie / good game renaissance, since pointless online Skinner boxes and microtransactions (but I repeat myself) are being targeted.

sincx posted:seems like it's going to be a quiet week in this thread I know vanishingly little about China, and I want to get a grip on how Actually Existing Socialism functions. My impression is that they have a bourgeois capitalist society, their capitalist economy is heavily financialized, and they're using it to carry out a colonialist agenda, same as us. But I also get the impression that they proscribe, or at least restrict, various "vulture capitalist" practices that suck up profit for shareholders at the expense of the economy. Is that totally off base?
