Also in extremely stupid marketing news: They've announced that you can't CCU to any of the big ships when they go on sale this year. For those playing the home game, CCU's have been the lifeblood of the wale milking economy for the last 4 years. The idea is that you buy a poo poo ship with lifetime insurance, then "cross-chassis upgrade" it to the ship you actually want when it goes back on sale. Alternately, you take your 500 dollar ship and CCU it to a 700 dollar ship, getting ever deeper into the pool a little at a time. Well no more of any of that.  Sorry, suckers! Hope you didn't buy too many of those little LTI bikes or what the gently caress ever! If you want one of these ships you need to turn your old ship into "Store currency" and then accept whatever raw loving deal is attached to the new ship, be it garbage insurance or just a jacked up price for store credit. New money only, fuckos.
