I don't know about Twitter, but I started clicking "do not show me posts from this advertiser" on literally everything I saw on Facebook, and eventually my feed became 100% ad-free. It took a while to cleanse everything from the system though; toward the end I was getting targeted ads for self-help coaches needing financial advice and Trump memorabilia.

I don't use Facebook anymore, but when I did half the ads were for craft whiskeys and the other half were for private rehab facilities. Which mostly told me Facebook was vastly over estimating my income.

Best case scenario, you end up with an adult deer with no fear of humans who is going to happily wander up to the wrong person during hunting season.

I mean, yeah, it is pretty stupid, but that's kind of symptomatic of the show as a whole. Though it was pretty funny at the end of the episode where some abortion doctor in New York tells one of the pregnant men that he could face prosecution in his home state for seeking an abortion and he was like "yeah, I know, I wrote the loving law".
