On the subject of old crappy movies, I'm disappointed our local cable channel got sucked up by a big market entity. We used to have a smorgasbord of lovely movies. They even had their own special blocks, like "Kung Fu Theater," "Black Belt Theater," "Nightmare Theater," and "Creature Feature." Basically they played The American Ninja movies and some off market 60s Chinese Kung Fu drama for the martial arts stuff. Then it was Ghoulies, Critter and sometimes Serpent and the Rainbow for the horror stuff. Don't get me wrong they did other, more commercially popular movies, but I think those were the cheap ones they could keep running and still get good ad revenue from.
