I don't really consider the Wade thing a cliffhanger, even. It's so naturally a part of that episode's arc.

The show is telling a non-linear narrative to match the style of the original comic. If you don’t like it that’s fine but it doesn’t “need” to do anything, nor is it “jerking itself off over its zaniness” (I mean Jesus Christ)

This episode was fantastic and I love this story for HJ. it's canon to me now.

I thought this was where they were going since episode 2 but it's nice to see if laid out.

There's a quick line in Under the Hood about Hooded Justice expressing approval for Hitler prior to Pearl Harbor, but I'm definitely willing to believe that as part of the mask because holy poo poo this is so much more interesting than "fascist strong man who likes to beat men up during sex and not during sex."

Some of the most visually inventive storytelling ever displayed on TV. This show is something else.

I think he probably harbored some admiration for Germany as a country stemming from the propaganda leaflet his father gave him. I think when they showed him taking the newspaper articles off his mirror they were showing you him understanding what the Nazis are and giving up that support and putting them in that case folder on The Cyclops.

It's not only technically brilliant, this is writing that truly understand what Moore was doing on a bone-deep level. He's an antisocial rear end in a top hat, but this episode does his work proud.

Also, Peteypedia is updated. If it wasn't obvious, Angela was muttering the memories the whole time so now Laurie and the FBI know about Will, Hooded Justice, and xChief Crawford

Uhh... also from a newsclipping about Lady Trieu on Peteypedia

Not sure what year HJ would have shared that view with Nite Owl 1, but the note from ep 2 that the Germans wrote may have colored his perception of Germany as noble (until it was obvious they weren't).

So now I have the feeling that giant clock tower is a giant strobe light. Maybe it will go "Liberals kill conservatives, conservatives kill yourselves," or "White people game over, go jump off a bridge." I'm hoping its the first one and done in a way where the strobe goes over a Fox style news cast for the commentary conservatives will do anything Fox tells them. Again nothing new but kinda funny and sinister at the same time.

I thought that too at first, but it could have just been something he adopted for a cover.

I honestly expected Hollis Mason to have popped up and interacted with Will during the episode, and thought it was going to be him when one of the white officers snapped at Fred for calling Will a 'spook'.

I was rewatching episode 5 and there was a shot I noticed of LG turning off his TV while watching AHS that was oddly focused on the TV itself

My guess is she is going to hijack the broadcast of the final episode and do something involving that mind control tech HJ has

Per Peteypedia:

Trieu's mom's name is Bian (same as her "daughter's")
"In 1971, Mr. Blake and his battalion of ‘Blazin’ Commandos’ passed through her village outside My Lai. Their uniquely warm demeanor made quite an impression on her.” (emphasis mine)

You know that means her mom got burnt by E. Blake. Daughter is likely a clone of her mom, and she may want revenge on Laurie (Edward's 'legacy')
