Enter your name pilot!

The 10 year old in me who is a SW fan will always love Boba Fett no matter what they do to ruin him. So the end of that episode was just perfect for me.

The mando coming in and clearing house was impressive

Then showed that they're still not invincible when he gets bailed out, which is a lot different than how Legends would've handled it

Did anyone else think that the big guy that the Mandalorian fought with sounded like Pre Viszla?

e: nm, Jon Favreau was the voice of both and the character's name was Paz Vizla, but they're claiming no relation (for now) :v:

Boba Fett stood around looking menacing, got handed a pre-cauptured Han Solo, and then tried to shoot vaguely above Luke's head as a blind man knocked him into a Shai'hulud. He looked cool and then did nothing and died. He's the Battleship Yamato of Star Wars characters.

He was also in the only part of the Holiday Special people liked.

Additionally, there were several years between Boba's first appearance in Empire and Jedi, so people back then were abuzz with possibilities for this cool new boy.

That was his popularity. He looks cool, he doesn't say much, and especially in that time between Empire, where he's the one to outsmart Han and be the only bad guy to accomplish his mission, and Jedi where he dies like a chump, there was a time when everyone's imagination about what Boba Fett could do went wild.

The "No disintegrations" line helped him too, since it implied a long history working for Vader.

Nothing actually gross. He's a huge manchild and shill/corporate bootlicker for Disney Marvel. I only became aware of him after the guy made a bunch of meltdown tweets when Disney and Sony couldn't come to an agreement over Spider-Man.

I still laugh at trying to collect a bounty after he's disintegrated someone.

I was in the mood for more Mandalorian stuff so I re-watched the two episode arc where Sabine learns to use the Darksaber and goes back to her family, and drat if those aren't some extremely good episodes.

Also this is an extremely good track:

So much good lore and characterization during that arc, and the visuals of the lakehouse were probably some of Rebels' best

Sabine's Catharsis is absolutely heartbreaking

Journey into the Star Cluster is also some of Kiner's best work
(One of the urls for an early rip of the song included the word "Vnayeg" and I headcanon it as the Lasat word for "Journey")

I would be so down for this. Make it a dark-hearted Young Indiana Jones chronicles where nothing goes right and Aphra does a lot of bad things at the last second to get out of trouble.

Yeah. The whole series could should just be her pinballing between situations where she's not quite as smart as she thinks she is or lets being super amoral (mostly) get her in trouble. Spoilers because if goons haven't read Aphra's comic they should:

Aphra is the only person I know who could make having her two psychotic droids leaving her seem like a defeat.

Even two episodes ago he just ran around being incompetent and had to be rescued by children. again.

I feel they really missed out on making Kaz competent at anything other than piloting to make it feel more believable that they'd just give him the entire station's funds to go buy supplies. I'd fully expect Kaz to show up with magic beans after that.
