Also the US only needs to push on the more technical barriers to trade like patent law and food standards because they'll start from a TTIPP style agreement which would allow their corporations to win any bid and enter any market anyway, they don't need to make that the focus of the talks.

The press are going to desperately try and shift the conversation back to antisemitism before the night is through. They clearly weren't expecting this document to be leaked, as is evident from the wildly poo poo response from the media on it. Clear panicked response from a group who wanted to do nothing but talk about internal Labour disciplinary processes for the next two weeks suddenly have the plausible deniability surrounding the NHS ripped from their hands. Their instincts to try and protect the conservatives on full display. They'll try to memory hole it as soon as possible.

Most journalists are so overworked due to cuts and declining news income that much of their coverage is straight out reprints of press releases - and the Tories spend a ton of money on PR companies to pump out articles favourable to the party line. This combined with editorial bias and that most journalists who survive at this point have class interests aligned with the Tories creates a hegemony in the British press.
