 Finally ordered Sly a Ft. Warms. He's been in it almost constantly since I put it in his spot earlier. Is there any worry about leaving it plugged in? At least for the winter, that's my plan, but I dunno if it needs to be unplugged occasionally.

i've had mine plugged in almost nonstop since getting it a couple years ago and i haven't burned my house down yet so i feel qualified to say it's perfectly safe

my fort warms has been plugged in nonstop for at least 5 years now and no problems. i vacuum it out every few months (you would be amazed the hair that gets jammed into the cracks of the cushion) and give it a once over to make sure it still feels warm, doesn't have holes, etc. also smart to check what's under it from time to time to make sure there isn't something reacting badly to the constant heat. i keep mine on cat tree carpet and it's fine, but i'd be a little more careful with like a wood surface or something that might warp

I put a towel over fort warms so that its easier to clean out. cat hair fills all the crevices otherwise!
