Encouraging people to listen to Enzo and Cass on a podcast should be probatable :colbert: . That's firmly in the "find a transcript" territory. Just like Graves giving his apology on his podcast. That's up on Fightful's site, by the way.

I don't think I've ever seen a lamer, more forced apology than this.

I kinda can’t believe this keeps happening but Dave saying “they took it the wrong way because it was Jim Cornette and if anyone but Jim Cornette had said that it would’ve flown right under the radar” is some loving next level nonsense holy poo poo.

Yeah, Dave dancing around the Mauro/Graves issue in a very strange way before using it as an excuse to bring up the Cornette firing was bizarre

For the first part, Dave is iirc pretty friendly with Mauro or people close to him, so he probably knows way more about what’s going on than would be good for him to talk about.

He absolutely needs to shut the gently caress up about Cornette though

Oh yeah, it honestly seemed like he was trying to imply Graves had management's backing with the Mauro stuff. I just found it weird how he used that to go off on another Dave-style tangent about Cornette's enemies getting him fired.

And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.
I want this to be the worlds dumbest hill to die on for Meltzer as a side effect may be not having to hear him try and fail to justify how Randy should be in the hall of fame.

It never ceases to amaze me that white people, boomers in particular, think people being hurt by things they do are the problem and they're the real victims for having to face, not even real consequences, but just people telling them they did a bad thing, which they're sure they didn't, because they're good people and good people can't do bad things. So everybody rightly calling them out are liars just looking to be offended.

its not even boomers there is just no one really. its odd accounts on twitter scooping each other and the larger sites being pulled around by malicious sources and not wanting to burn bridges and being old af and plans change. The state of accountability and reporting in wrestling is horrible. imho and it kinda worries me but im a huge idiot (keep it up bix!)

It's a fundamental misunderstanding of the impact of racism/sexism/etc from a place of privilege. If you're old and you've worked all your life losing your job is the worst thing ever, what's the harm in a few misplaced words, but they'll never understand that other races and genders can legitimately live in fear due to the way they're treated by society. I have no idea how to get this through their heads.
