What the gently caress are you talking about son. Chris Roberts has said sevaral times, on record, that they had enough reserves to finish the game should the funding stopped.

It wasn't an ELE that wiped out the backer funds. It was Tristan Timothy Taylor.

Has anyone asked him to be more positive yet? He really needs to be more positive.

Not quiet. It was basically a F5 pressing competition. Those who most obsessively hit F5 to be one of the first had a chance of getting one of the limited ships.

Dear Chris Roberts,
How will you at RSI tackle the technical debt in the future ?
Will it for instance be the sole focus during the summer months July/August,
when there is a low population in mmo's and you have a full 2 month window ?
Regards, a Freelancer

Short answer, they tackle the technical debt by adding even more debt!

You know, its probably like how its said, “If you owe your bank a hundred pounds, you have a problem. But if you owe a million, the bank has a problem.”

lol, so after looking up a keybinding (well and clipping through a space ship) it shits the bed.

Falling through the Reclaimer cockpit broke my legs, which ended up killing me. I was desperately trying to remember/find the medipen binding but it was uh... not enough, I guess. Also apparently I died hard enough to crash my game lol.

Also, elevators are hilariously broken. Literally every ship I took an elevator into did this:

quote:

ABOUT THE SHIP CONCEPT PLEDGE

The Kraken is being offered for the first time as a limited ship concept pledge. This means that the ship design meets our specifications, but it is not yet ready to display in your Hangar or to fly in Star Citizen. The Warbond pledges shown here include Lifetime Insurance on the ship hull. In the future, the ship price may increase and Lifetime Insurance or any extras may not be available . If you are interested in adding one to your fleet, a limited quantity of Kraken hulls are available during this event. You can also view a detailed schematic of this new ship in the Holo Viewer in the Tech Overview of the ship page.

It really is crazy.

Here we are, 7 years later where they are making a ships sale where there is no reduced price on ships, and after telling press that they have enough cash to develop the game when they were left with only 17 million before getting Calders as investors. They possibly lied again saying it was to market Squadron 42 when it has shown that it's financially impossible for them to keep the 46 million just for marketing.

Let me preface this by saying I have been given a refund, 10 different emails and all assorted passwords from a couple years back. They require like three different handles/and or emails for some odd reason. Well not odd, it is because they can fleece everybody for multiple accounts.

So I step into the world known as Star Citizen to try again as a free play affair. I'm all checked out via Spectrum, it downloads the dumpster fire to my super special SSD.

No login works from the launcher.

Then I file a trouble ticket. God dang fidelity.
