T-man posted:Hello podcast thread, atypical seriouspost here. I have a boring manufacturing job now and they let us listen to podcasts/musics while we're exploited. Any suggestions for good anarchist-y podcasts? Or just generally humanistic leftism. I quite enjoy Srsly Wrong's focus on library socialism, for example. And if anyone has good statist-y podcasts that'd be nice, I've got 8 hours to fill after all. xoxo love u all I feel a personal kinship with Bryan and Brett's pure hatred for all things ULINE having had to visit their HQ up in Pleasant Prairie, I can say without any hesitation that it is a truly batshit crazy company

the last ULINE catalog I saw had a screed about how the sinister Chinese have a plot to take over the world via manufacturing 5G equipment and maybe also the radio signals are bad for you. no mention whatsoever that literally every other telecom equipment company sold off their production subsidiaries which is why china is the only people making them now.

I found a copy just by going to the publisher's site--the book was about the Paraguayan War by Thomas Wigham (The War Nerd had him on for an interview at some point) and it was a university publishing house, so their profit motive probably wasn't as strong as with private publishers
