Yeah there's nothing wrong with not following politics and not knowing what to make of things, there's entire huge industries dedicated to misinforming people. See: BMs ouevre.

Considering yourself in the know and not yet knowing whether you're a oval office or not just suggests that actually you're a oval office and are faking ambivalence or you're stupid and/or credulous.

The poo poo that Johnson used to publish when he was editor of the Spectator was truly horrendous stuff. Just a Greek Neo Nazi writing about how he wishes he was around to gently caress the grieving and terrified women of the losing sides of war. And Johnson refused to fire him despite repeated requests from Jewish groups and the owner of the magazine.

Honestly if you really cared about antisemitism this is the fight.

I kept seeing ads for the Amazon Jack Ryan spy show that opens with someone muttering 'The Russians are giving weapons to the Venezuelans' and thought it was way too on the nose to actually be ghostwritten by the CIA but then the main actor said the quiet part loud lmao

Did some poking around and in 69 we raised corporation rates by 5% without causing an apocalypse.

We took them from 40% to 45%.

I'm now more curious about how we went from 40 to sub 20 than I am about Labour's rise.
