My impression is that Amber is not a TERF or is at least ambivalent on the matter because she's said nothing about it beyond "we should focus on class/economic issues first". As far as I can tell, she considers economic issues so much more important than social ones that she simply never engages with them publicly. Or, rather than ranking of importance, maybe she just sees it as a better use of her platform. I edited a bit of that into my post above, but online leaking into real life means all the same kind of insane obsessive weirdness we used to see in EVE online has become normal behavior for people. You're not beefing with Qw33fL0rd, you're a tireless investigator into hidden injustice and a champion for social equality! So you end up with stuff like that guy who assembled that insanely exhaustive list of online lefty people and why they should be canceled, when he really should have just unfollowed the people who irritated him, taken a step outside, and focused on issues in his community. Something that would make him and everyone else happier. More cynically, I think there are those who want to make a career off online media and have a "I eat his heart and gain his power" view of the process of accumulating clout. They think that if they can effectively cancel the right person, they'll absorb their fanbase and patreon subscribers. In the shallow pool of far left-wing media online, Chapo is pretty much the biggest target for that. It's like a slightly less sad version of the online nazis constantly beefing on each other because no one's getting shot.

there's about a 60% chance that someone who tweets about amber or chapo being cancelled for being problematic has put up a link to their podcast patreon at one point or another that got a few friend subscribers but went nowhere from there and they're just mad they're not the ones at the top this clout poo poo

Pod Save America probably makes more in a month than they do in a year, to say nothing of the bloated salaries of TV anchors. They also live in New York, so it's a bunch of anger at the success of people who probably live little better than a succesful bodega owner.
