My son wanted to be a ghostbuster for halloween this year, and the pack that came with the costume was an absolute piece of poo poo. Unfortunately he didn't tell me until Monday night that he would like to make something that looks nicer, so we did this in about 4 hours on wednesday night  I'm pretty happy with it, he was absolutely thrilled. There's a hard drive head, old network card, old video card, old cooling fan, doorbell actuators, head light harnesses, air compressor parts, aluminum flashing, and just a poo poo load of random wires from ceiling fan installations. The trigger on the gun (which does come off) was a hard drive mount. I'll edit a picture of the gun in later. The whole pack was just leftover 2" insulation I had from doing my basement walls, and the straps were from an old alice pack I had from way back when.

Rocket League related, I put off getting this for months (it came out in June), but given Halloween being last night, I finally picked it up: I don't think it has the siren, but that's ok. The proton stream boost looks and sounds fantastic. I will quite literally be playing with this for every match going forward.

Rumours are starting to swirl that the title for the new film is Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Edit: also they’ve cast someone who’s a bit of a ringer for Harold Ramis.
