Rotom is named Monathin After the sadness of our loss we move on, making our way to Wyndon.  Okay it's London. They've got the Houses of Parliament, the Millenium Wheel, it's all there. It's actually a little strange, there's no victory road in this game at all. I was expecting something of the sort after the move back to having gyms.  Infinitum evolves!  Turning into a Bisharp, which is a pretty great mon. We head to the stadium, but on the way we pick up this.  Monathin is amazing. With the Catalog it can switch form from a Electric/Ghost type to an Electric/Grass , Electric/Fire, Electric/Flying or Electric/Ice type. We turn Monathin into a Water type, making it a washing machine. Since its innate ability is Levitate it doesn't get hit by ground attacks, nullifying electricity's weakness. Since water types are weak to electricity, its electric typing nullifies its weakness to electricity as well! This means that rotom has a single weakness, grass type attacks. Fortunately they're relatively uncommon.  We get to the stadium! Its filled with cool stalls outside (That you can't actually buy anything from! Weak!)  And we head out for our first match. The finals are a little different to the Elite 4. We're actually fighting top 4 trainers who got through the gym challenge in a single elimination tournament.  And look who comes out to face us! Marnie made it all the way.  I'm well prepared for her team though, she strongly favours dark types.  So I lead with Mr. Steak.  She eventually Gigantimaxes her Grimmsnarl, which looks like a loving Power Ranger monster. But we ruin her with Mr. Steak. There's nothing she can really do against him.  Hop is next.  He walks out, determined to win.  But I'm very ready for his shenanigans this time. Snorlax gets a burn from Monathin's Will O' Wisp.  He eventually Dynamaxes his Rillaboom after I've put away the rest of his squad.  I summon Bifauxnen.   Fire beats Grass  And Hop takes his loss like a true champion.  Lee comes to congratulate us and even offers to buy us dinner. (Hey waitaminute, you weren't sure whether to endorse us!)  As we enter the hotel, we're swarmed by the paparazzi. gently caress you, you write for the Sun.  But oddly, Lee doesn't show. It's like him to get lost but he usually calls if he does! Piers, comes to the rescue, talking some poo poo about Hop.  Lee's at Rose Tower? But why? We'll have to find out next time! Current Team Bifauxnen, the Cinderace Mr Humalong, the Eldegoss Mr. Steak, the Sylveon Murmurtwin, the Gastrodon. Infinitum, the Pawniard Monathin, the Rotom.
