It's really not

I mean, it's not like a fighting game where you have to consider yomi and tactically assess the fight. Every boss has a handful of set "phrases" that you can just respond to with the same parry/dodge pattern every time once you memorize the tells/which phrases chain into the other.

It is real hard, but man the parrying feels so good when it clicks and you execute on a boss.

I wish there was co-op so I could help people who get stuck, but then the later bosses are just harder anyways..

I gave up on it. It would take take me an hour to get to the boss only to wipe immediately. I am too bad at video games.

Sekiro gives you a batman grapple to skip fights! Getting to a boss should take like 5 minutes tops.

This was much more of a deal in souls than sekiro. In Sekiro you just use stealth!

I will challenge Death to a game of Smash, but I don't know if I'd do it without items or with them and just cheese the gently caress out of Death, in the event Death is also good at Smash.

Well, that aligns with the vibes I was getting. Which was, like, "normal" kinda vibes.
A really cool thing about Sekiro is that the game never forces you to die (after the prologue, which doesn't count) which means you never go through the act of getting your second life/revival mechanic. In practice this is just a cool way of signifying how far you can get in the game before you bite it, and it's easily visible just above the health bar for the whole game. NG+ lets you start with a bunch of strength upgrades and a full life bar (if you've earned it), and you've probably mastered the basic skills that'll get you at least to the Great Ape.

Not so cool thing was the soul requirements for the last skill points you need. Don't try to get everything! Focus on what's cool and looks useful, because you really have to grind for the last 10 or so points.

Depression destroying my soul, so instead of my normal high tier posting have one of my patented Culinary Depression Distractions in how to dispose of holiday leftovers

Cook some rice

Prepare leftovers

Add some (cooked) roughage, I like broccoli, some like spinach or even cabbage

Mix with a lot of cheese

Grab your chilled cooking sheet and lay out some crescent rolls

Start filling, cheese is the mortar, so use it liberally to build that wall

Work on just one half to better manage the crescent rolls, they can get annoying as they turn room temp

Finish the other half and fill in gaps with scraps of dough

Once it's completed, lift and tuck the undersides to tighten up the wreath and ensure the underside is sealed. Then toss in the oven until brown

While that's cooking, make a pie or two

Let the leftover wreath cool for 10 minutes, then cut into slices, apply gravy and serve.

You've now spent 3+hours not thinking of how awful life is, repeat as necessary

Ps don't forget the pie in the oven this time!
