Still though, you would often see Koch funded adds on the site. I let it pass because you've got to get funding from somewhere.

My memory of the 2017 election is that the Tories made up a bunch of seats in Scotland because of vote-splitting between Labour and SNP, like a bunch of seats went 30% SNP / 34% Labour / 36% Conservative or something like that Is that gonna happen again today or what, I don't know what's going on in Scotland

Same for Scotland but probably vote SNP, or Labour depending on the last results and local candidate. Scottish Labour (a separate party) is broadly hostile to Corbyn, dating back to when this place was an unchallenged fiefdom and Cabinet was stuffed with Blair loyalists from safe seats in Scotland. The relatively pro-Corbyn Richard Leonard got in as leader on a popular vote, but the anti-mob (headed by dynastical successor Anas Sarwar) has been working at taking back the party's internal governance. Given the PLP and ex-PLP's history of self-aggrandisement and public meltdowns over current Labour policies that would have been uncontroversial in the 90s, an SNP member is at-least-as-trustable to support Corbyn's Cabinet on this or that as a Scottish Labour one. The main thing is vote against the Tories forever, always. Juliet Whisky has issued a correction as of 17:49 on Dec 12, 2019 |

please forgive us Americans who are asking for results and such, you gotta remember we do a horse race thing with exit polls where every news channel is giving us up to the minute speculation on what could very well be a result that might happen it's bizarre to us when an election happens and we're not just getting nonstop speculative results and talking heads "calling it" with 1% of districts reporting starting at like 9AM

I work as an occasional computer toucher and today I had someone complain that a bit of kit wasn't connecting to the internet. I get over there and it's a simple case of someone unplugging the network cable so I sort that and test the internet connection again, it all works. I go try that speedtest.net website and ALL the ads flashing around it on the side are saying VOTE LABOUR... I find it amusing they're pushing the broadband thing and then buying advertising on a site where people go to see how poo poo their connection is

lorn Wayne posted:not that recent, think it was 2015? It predicted large tory gains in2015, but not enough to get a majority, which they narrowly managed.
