Did my postal vote the other week, gotta do a socialism early and often. I haven't been able to face up to going out canvassing (and I'm stuck covering on-call at work), but solidary to everyone that's been doing it and putting it so much time and effort. We can do it folks, socialist jam from nationalised allotments form Christmas under Corbyn!

I voted SDLP in South Belfast - wanted to go Alliance but didn't want to risk it since Claire Hanna seems like a safe bet pretty good turnout too!

The exit poll the broadcasters use isn't that old people outside the booth system. They set up a second, fake, ballot box outside and ask X people to vote in it to give the country a good idea how it's gone.

So briefly cha tots with my brother about why he voted for Tories. He said he hates Jeremy Corbin and disagrees with the Lib Dem policies and ended up agreeing with most of the conservative policies even if he dislikes Bojo. He also mentioned how on social media there’s so many more people attacking conservative voters for their vote with things like “if you see a homeless person and you voted Tories, it’s your fault” and that there hasn’t really been anything the other way around. Fundamentally I don’t agree with his decision to vote the way he did and I’m nowhere near invested in politics enough to rebuttal.
