Thinking about the guy in my high school who got into brony poo poo and started wearing this bright baby blue jacket with one of the characters on it everywhere, and then four years later after I graduate and have a job at a company, he shows up as a temp and he's still wearing the same loving jacket he did when he was 18. incredible.

I was a brony for like 6 months back in 2011 (or whenever the first season happened, I don't quite remember) That's it. Applejack was my favorite. I stopped watching the show when my life started going to poo poo and just never bothered to pick it up again. Thanks for listening.

i was sitting outside a university classroom waiting for my interior design class to start when a guy my age sat down next to me, told me he was a brony, and without any encouragement from me whatsoever beyond "oh i've... heard of those", explicated that there are some who call him the king of clop because he is internet famous for his fallout equestria porn. i was like oh that's very interesting, i'm more into green space design. next time i saw him he had become a shark otherkin, then he dropped out and i didn't see him again

it always resonated with me when people complained about furries only ever choosing from a select group of animals. why are they all wolves and felines? where are the mustelids, the ungulates, the pinnipeds, the non-monkey primates? why do the big five of africa draw billions of tourist dollars but not a single fursona? these are the only questions i ask of the subculture. in every other way i am ok with them

People pointed out there was a german word fremdschämen https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/fremdsch%C3%A4men (reflexive, informal) to feel ashamed about something someone else has done; to be embarrassed because someone else has embarrassed himself (and doesn't notice) This is how I feel about bronies and furries.
