Probably a slender 3-4 could be comfortable driving for like an afternoon of fun but I could see that owning at that height might be rough. It's the V6 and the Type S clocks in at 380hp IIRC. RWD. It's an insane power jump for me so I'm babying the hell out of it while I learn.

I’ve had this for 3 months, and 8000 miles - 2009 Landrover Freelander / 2.2 Turbo Diesel / 6AT. It needed a new diff, 10 year service and an MOT when I got it, but even after getting a LR specialist to sort the oily bits in total I spent about the right price for miles & age, and I didn’t see any advertised at any price with the 10 year service done. I really like it, it’s my first auto and aside from the economy I’m not missing a third pedal. It’s getting 30mpg (UK / 25 US) with my heavy foot. It needs a few niggles sorted, but at just under 120,000 miles it should keep going for a while I hope. It’ll see some mild off road stuff, it’s no defender or disco but I’m pretty confident it’ll get wherever I need. The autobox and hill descent do a pretty good job making up for the lack of low range. While being mostly a Ford Mondeo with a few Volvo 4x4 bits underneath it still has a green oval badge so I’m keeping a few quid aside for things breaking - at least the diff is sorted already.

Getting there. Has the right height tires on it now, going to get it tint and chrome deleted, lowered via STAR probably an inch at the front and something in the rear, and then get the tune done.

Those HREs are sexy and a nice compliment to the paint color. Once lowered a little you will definitely improve the aesthetics. The brakes are just massive aren't they? They completely fill the wheel.

Mine for the next 3 years Things I like: * Looks fantastic inside and out * Amazing ride quality with pretty responsive handling * Effortless power and better than EPA fuel economy * 8 hour seats with massage * Everything feels amazing and top-tier * Plenty of room in a small package * Order/Leasing process was top-notch - word is that the service process is just as good Things I don't like: * Sync 3 is laggy especially after startup * Cruise control buttons activate by pulling behind their labels instead of pushing * 24-way seats take fiddling to find the right spot

It’s crazy how much bigger the 19 Si is than the 02. Also crazy is the 19 only weighs 100lb more despite the extra airbags, traction control, two extra doors, and all the extra horsepowers.

The EP3 is actually dimensionally almost exactly the same as my S2000.

People want more leg room in the back, so cars have gotten longer as a result. The fact that it can grow that much and only weigh 100kg more despite being far, far safer in a crash is something that ought to be celebrated.

The S is like 50% bonnet and under that bonnet there's about 3 feet from the front of the car to the engine. There's one in storage in my workshop and every now and again I just look at the thing, it's such a beautiful car. Mad that the dimensions are the same as an EP3 when you consider how tiny the cabin is.

Forgive the wacky panorama perspective but it’s nice that they’re both so short, otherwise they wouldn’t both fit in my garage.

Bronze rims is the best trend. I'm almost inclined to get some bronze rims for my car (when I get it) even though I'll have brand new rims.... Fits so well with blue color. Edit: Especially bronze rims with fat tyres. MrOnBicycle fucked around with this message at 13:35 on Jan 6, 2020 |

Look good? Sure. The best color? Not always. I found bronze on a black car doesn't look better than a graphite/dark grey. I wonder when we'll all agree this all looks like brake dust and just try to color match that, though.

The RS6 I'm 'borrowing' at the moment has wheels powder coated in a graphite colour which is excellent at hiding brake dust, but also doesn't look poo poo like painted black wheels.

I'm still big time thinking about these wheels once I need tires, which will likely be this summer.opengl128 posted:I've been having dirty thoughts about the SVE SP2 wheels in bronze. They're a PP2 wheel replica in more reasonable offset (the PP2 wheels poke out way too much for my taste). I generally like my PP1 wheels but black isn't my favorite and they are a pain in the dick to clean.
