This looks like a similar glitch than in Salt & Sanctuary where you get some kind of infinite flight boost from stairs. Seems like you can load a superjump with some menu trickery while hanging from a ledge.

It's a 2D Dark Souls / Castlevania with great art, lots of violence and messy lore. Very fun, I recommend to try Blasphemous yourselves. Some of the boss fights are pretty fun and they have great design. e: It's basically Catholic Guilt Souls

That particular cutscene is one where a naked woman thrusts a sword through her chest very graphically. (it's fine, she is a helper NPC) I wonder if he's skipping the cutscenes partly because of the content of them (of course speed too)
