I think Titus told a story before about how Batista showed him one of his royalty checks from WWE and Titus immediately said,"I am going to be a pro-wrestler." Titus ain't a great pro-wrestler, but he's one hell of an incredible human being and I hope WWE is scared enough of AEW that they just pay him a huge amount of money while he spends his free time hanging out with his kids or doing cool charity work.

This gets posted a lot but I think there's obviously more to it than that. It's a funny tweet but I think we're kinda way past that as an actual response to people talking about getting abuse online. BUT The comments Bray is using as examples here aren't abuse, except in a really colloquial sense of the word. They're just opinions about a TV show character. What he's basically saying is please don't express your dissatisfaction with my character because it upsets me. If it was a bunch of poo poo about his personal life, then yeah - and I'm sure he's gotten plenty of that. Call that out, cos it's bogus. When you put something out there, and especially if you're being paid for it and selling things related to it, you need to suck up the fact that a lot of people aren't going to like it and they're going to say so. In a perfect world maybe people would just say nice things when they like something and nothing when they don't (and that's debatable,). Knowing that this isn't how people behave, you've got to be prepared that when you start doing something in public, there's going to be poo poo talked about it in proportion to how exposure it has, and he's got a lot, because he's a success. Just weird. He's been doing this for a long time and is very successful, but I guess hasn't learned how to filter and ignore the negativity.

Mental health is important and I'm sympathetic to people suffering from negativity, but if you're sensitive enough to it that mild negative criticisms of your "art" risk doing serious damage to you then maybe you shouldn't be putting your art out there to the masses like that. Or at least get off social media.
