It was part of the Sunday Night show I'd always listen to that played stuff from the 70s and 80s. KHLAV KALASHNIKOV posted:It was... A-ha always was a better band than Duran Duran, and it blew my mind when I went to Europe the first time and found out they never stopped making music.

Related, Living Daylights is one of the best Bond movies. It has everything you want, crazy gadgets, car chases, goes all over the world, high class, multiple great action set pieces and final showdown is fantastic. Dalton was a great Bond and what's wrong with Joe Don Baker as a stolen valor rear end in a top hat arms dealer?uber_stoat posted:speaking of rocks... for the longest time I thought my memories of these things were a fever dream or nightmare but it turns out they actually existed and I probably had one of the rock monsters. What the gently caress is that rock thing??? A toy I loved was ARmy Ants https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYi0vNUmdQs basically just green army men but with an Ant gimmick. Timothy dalton was like proto Craig. His first movie has the whole teaming up with mujahideen thing, but the second has Wayne Newton as a cult leader and an early benefit del toro roll, so it’s a wash

I adore the bad Bond movies as much as the good ones. At least until the 90s, for some reason the camp stops being so enjoyable in the Brosnan period.

I could look that up on wikipedia right now and verify (probably did once already some time), but can't be arsed to do so.

Why I get annoyed when movies that take place in the 80s made today have suburban white kids listening to it as just a thing they listen to.
