Okay, I get the Zelda reference but can someone explain what''s going on with the poultrygeist in the footage?

In most Zelda games if you keep beating up a chicken you trigger a giant swarm of chickens that attack and kill you. Breath of the Wild, the latest game, let’s you weaponize this mechanic against enemies and is amazing. Cartoon Man has a new favorite as of 12:49 on Jan 23, 2020 |

I too am curious as to what's going on with all them chickens but it's probably something un-exciting like "guy fed a chicken and all the other chickens wanted to get in on it" Like that "rabbit island" where you get chased by swarms of rabbits looking for food from tourists. Dragonstoned posted:I think you missed the part where they said... I haven't played any of the Zelda games since Ocarina of Time for the N64, so this could be a little off since I am working on 20 year old memories. Based on the the context of the clip and my experience in that game, if you harass (kick, hit with your sword, spells, etc.) a single chicken, which are a common normally non-lethal animal you encounter throughout the game, enough times in a short enough amount of time, it causes dozens of chickens to spawn and start attacking you in a huge swarm. They continue to do this until you either leave the area or die. As stated, this game now allows you to use this mechanism against your enemies by trigger this event, only instead of attacking you, they attack big meanie face instead. Someone then subsequently tried to use this mechanism on the final boss of the game, however, a cut scene mechanism prevents you from bringing your winged ally into the final battle.
