You could just leave it as is and give them the localization that the dub used, or if it must be America go with nerd convention stuff. There area semi-professional (still need a dayjob) cosplayers for at least MtG. Alternatively Finnish/Russian Warhammer LARPs.

Third episode of Asteroid was better than the first two (I'm not on a Crunchyroll paid sub right now.) Map girl is good.

The Steins;Gate Live Action show is being made by Skydance Media, which doesn't exactly have a great track record aside from Annihilation.

Whats even the point of Steins;Gate without Okabe being as painfully chuuni as possible. I don't think anyone was clamoring for another 'brilliant' Light Turner character re-write. I guess they could just leave him as-is but then he just looks like a total lunatic.

Couldn't you just get Tatum to play Okabe in live action? Unless he's too ripped now.

Kotoko's best trait is that you want her to win but every time she gets in trouble it's 100% her fault so you also want her to fail

I don't get it. Are they implying either one is a bad thing? Today's Eizouken was pragmatic and inspiring at the same time. AOTS for sure.

I watched the first episode of In/Spectre last night and it seems interesting. The heroine has good gremlin energy. I am guessing it will probably come out later that her fake arm and leg aren't actually fake, since they seem to move totally normally. Or it could be bad animation or I'm underestimating how well people can control a prosthetic leg. The eye at least seems like it probably wouldn't move, though.

“Gremlin” is the exact word I would use to describe Kotoko to other people, yeah.

Just started watching it myself after someone posted that manga panel earlier. The first episode is so-so but the second episode kind of sold me on its premise of ghost and crime discussions. A giant ghost snake being an eyewitness and leading it through a murder case to ease its ghost worries kinda rules. Her arms are fine, it's her left leg and her right eye that are artifical.

Saving the last two episodes for the weekend, but does the show ever realise that it's attempts to discuss the morality of suicide/right to die is completely undermined by every suicide and right to die campaigner be mind controlled into it by the incarnation of villianous womanhood?

Now that I have finally seen all the new idol anime of the season, I feel qualified to give my impressions of them: ARP: After two eps I'm barely paying attention to this, except for the weirdass 2 minute virtual youtuber-esque segments at the end of every episode, which cross over into uncanny valley. Also, not enough topgunning yet for a Boydol anime. Bang Dream S3: Super hosed up that the show is acknowledging the first season again. Bang Dream is back in top form and I'm enjoying the fact that they no longer feel the need to introduce the characters again every time the franchise gets a new piece of media. Sweet. Excellent. Unstoppable. OshiBudo: Way too loving real. I feel attacked every episode. Anime of the Season. 22/7:
