I peace out of politics when my first vote was Gore and, yeah. Then I got back in around Obama and made a video game about how stupid his first election was and have gotten more and more Left ever since. I'm basically the youngest group of Xers, I guess.

They have a legitimate choice in the primaries. Will they take the time to register as a Democrat and vote in the primaries?

I can't really point to one crystallizing moment, for me it's been a slow and steady slide further left as a result of living and working in Silicon Valley for the last 10 years. Nothing opens your eyes to the failures of neo-liberal policy quite like passing by five homeless camps on the way to work in the city with the largest amount of millionaires per-capita.

If Bernie Sanders is the nominee, I'm voting for Bernie Sanders. If Biden is the nominee, I'm voting for Bernie Sanders. If Warren is the nominee, I'm voting for Bernie Sanders. If Buttigieg is the nominee, I'm voting for Donald Trump.

Watched a bunch of Frontlines regarding the financial collapse and the one about Slick Willy's economic appointees allowing the deregulation of derivatives even in the face of the warnings of the person who was in charge of overseeing that market and then those same people being appointed by Obama after they helped collapse the economy was blood boiling.

I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but I hope that the people who soured on Warren* also realized that it was possible to realize she was bad long before she explicitly walked back M4A. There's a reason many of us knew she couldn't be trusted from the beginning of the primary.

This is important, because it's possible that a "competent Warren" might come along later, who waits until after the primary to walk back their support for left-wing ideas.

* this has been one of the more surprising and heartening things to happen during this primary - to be honest I did not expect so many Warren supporters to change their minds after that

My hope is that Bernie can get the presidency and prove that larger scale change can work. Right now there are a lot of people who like Bernie's ideas but only as future states, because they think change has to come slowly and incrementally. If he can get enough done in four years to change minds on that, it opens the door for more leftist candidates with even more radical platforms to gain traction.

Warren was my second choice, my safety school candidate. I really thought she would be a good president if she got the nod.

Then she backtracked on M4A. That was what did it for me. Now I'm 100% behind my first choice candidate: John Dela-wait, what?

Seriously, though, Bernie or Bust
