If you have a preference for one over the other, express it, even if you'd prefer neither of them get in at all. Not voting doesn't allow you to express that if it's a choice between those two, you'd prefer Starmer over Nandy, voting does.

I mean I genuinely don't feel like I have enough information to pick the least bad of the two comprehensively, they're both poo poo in slightly different ways and have different red flags. And with all the candidates they're all saying basically the same goddamn poo poo anyway so I'm really forced to decide on who I trust, based on past evidence. If I get a chance to speak I'm gonna point that out to people, along with the importance of keeping or expanding into an even more radical policy platform cos anything less and we're just hosed up here. RLB seems to get that, we don't have a choice on policy, we've got to convince people it can happen, and frankly I'm also not convinced it's gonna be the efforts of the labour party that're gonna win or lose the next election, but rather how badly the tories gently caress up and own it. Although, gently caress starmer's go that much support from the ghoul brigade I don't even know if he's the best choice for third? He might seem less poo poo now but he's gonna get absolutely brain controlled by the worst the party has in it if he wins. Would we be better off with nandy going off on her own weird tangent anyway? Blue Labour want to sell economic socialism with moral traditionalism, Starmer wants to sell Blairite Liberalism with probably some appeals to social progressivism but tempered by appointing some egomaniac dickhead who'll ban grapefruit spoons to the Home Office. Starmer will look more sad when he does an illegal war, but that's just his resting face.

She spent her teenage years with a severe eating disorder which would have affected her ability to learn and retain information during that time before she ended up diving into full time modelling and acting. Both RLB and Nandy believe in something, even if you disagree with what that represents (as I do in the latter's case). Starmer is popular amongst ghouls because he's controllable, doesn't much believe in anything, and will dance to the tune of the (mostly Tory) media, which in the long run would probably be more dangerous than having an out and out Blue Labour type in charge for a bit. We'd also never in a million years win with a Blairite in charge, see Ed Miliband. On balance Nandy gets a begrudging preference over Starmer for me, but RLB is way ahead of either.

Aren't there also legit worries about 5g in terms of how it will affect weather forecasting? BBC have had these "what if i'm ALLERGIC to 5g" clowns on a lot and I cannot wrap my head around why that's the angle. Unless they're trying to link an aversion to 5G with being a crank

It makes it look like the government has been successful in rolling out broadband and mobile coverage to rural areas. While everyone's wasting their breath discussing the electrosensitivity cranks, no one's putting forward the idea that the infrastructure hasn't gone far enough. Or idk maybe some editor just thought it was an interesting story that'd get views, and it's not actually part of some right wing conspiracy.

It's a complete non-issue because 5G is fractions of a percent of the power used by those radars and that particular frequency band would be unusable anywhere where it might conceivably cause an issue because it will be completely swamped by the radars themselves. The one semi-legit issue is with low-power radars used on boats and planes and phones attempting to handshake on that band in very close proximity to them may cause some glitching, but there's plenty of solutions to that issue. TBH I've always been suspicious about the fact that the actual legitimate technical objections to 5G (starting with "we don't actually need it" and "it mostly doesn't work") are drowned out by such easily-refuted crank arguments, and it feeds into my Grand Unified Conspiracy Theory that most conspiracy theories are, in fact, white noise designed to stop people thinking too much about actual issues with the world.

Yeah but you can prove that the earth isn't flat (or that there's something really funky going on with space-time) using a handful of things off of ebay, some online calculators, and a friend in a different country in less time than it takes to watch a Flat Earth Truth Globalists Don't Want You To See video. So obviously what's going on is the Lizard People (who are definitely not Jews except for Todd who converted to get married) have full control of all online maps, messaging platforms, trig calculators, and carpentry tools except for half a dozen channels on YouTube.
