Hello I'm reading Marx right now (The Grundrisse) and its really good, has anyone read it, does anyone mind if I ask some questions about stuff I'm having trouble conceptualizing?

Laughing at the ”insurrectionary media cells” concept, what it conjures in my mind is what if Red Guards only aspired to do graffiti, guerrilla pig heads and small-scale personal harassment, and posted photos of it on their news site. Maybe some property damage too.

Ok, so here's my first question. BTW I am using Robert Tucker's The Marx-Engels Reader, 2nd Edition as my text. Page numbers are from there. In the Grundrisse, Marx says "The so-called exchange between dealers and dealers is by its very organization entirely determined by production, as well as being itself a producing activity. (236 emphasis mine). I don't get this. How is, say, the exchange between a wholesaler and a retailer "a producing activity."? What am I missing here?

Isn't he referencing the fact that as production systems grow more complex they in turn create their own internal systems to support themselves? Like it's going to create "jobs" or "work" i guess if i have a massive steel foundry somewhere that needs to take in raw materials and make steel. People will need to do stuff like: ship in that material, work in the factory, make food for the people working in the factory, deliver the finished product, maintain the rail line and or canal that allows for the shipping to occur in the first place, etc.
