He hasn't sent me his insurance details but I've got his info if needed. This is exactly why I'm buying a 2 channel dash cam after I've moved

The biggest issue is that i am a bit foggy cos it was earlier in the morning but I'm 99% certain he came into my lane. At least it wasn't the dickhead on the M2 who nearly ran me off the road at 100k in the wet

I want to get a dash cam real bad but realistically anytime I price them I start thinking about gardening stuff I need that costs about exactly that so it’s basically gonna be in the same category as a Nintendo switch until I get into a ding identical to yours

I don't want to self diagnose but think theres probably something the medical world could do to help out and would like to explore options. Talk to your doctor. Ask for a referral to see a psychiatrist regarding adhd and trouble focusing.

Australia is definitely a good country compared to most western countries. The medical system especially is really good and I have a lot of confidence in it and the quality of the infrastructure is good.

Its fine. Its not like, great, but its pretty interesting in its own hosed way so I vibe with that on a personal level.

the bigotry and selfish rear end in a top hat attitudes get to me massively some days but overall I'm glad to live here and appreciate what i have. my early years really made me appreciate nature too which i find is easy to forget about living in a major city. hard to keep perspective when you're bombarded with poo poo all day but the little things make it all worthwhile.

I’m actually gonna slam my auspol posting hat on so hard Burt should probably give me six on principle and say that the entire mentality that people in stable first world countries can and should just move away from crap political situations is a bizarre expression of how capitalism allows the privileged to externalise suffering and leaves the downtrodden holding poo poo, just at a subnational level

After moving tons of times growing up, I really don't want to separate from my family again so I'm staying here for the foreseeable future. I had better just make the best of it and if I get too bitter politically I'll just drive myself insane.

i dunno, everyone bangs on about this country being great but its usually followed immediately by 'good jobs' with little other qualifiers and yeah ok you get sick leave and annual leave and decent conditions but thats only if you get a full time job. so yeah you get a good job but poo poo is expensive, there are loving cops up your rear end for basically everything, you are constantly being told to behave, conform, there is rules about loving everything, its insane. Bouncers, RSA, liquor laws and drinking in public. nowhere in australia can you just go and be an adult making your own choices without someone watching you or asking you to sign a form to do it. Australians and the larrikin culture can only exist in a space like australia because without authority bearing over us at every waking moment constantly and forever you cant actually misbehave and feel like you get away with it. our infrastructure is poo poo, inefficient and if it isnt privatised yet it will be soon. People think australia a good place to live. what australia is is a good place to work. Thats it. maybe this country was great in the 80s/90s, I was too young to notice.

Oh the poo poo around atm is 100% a bang on from the glory years of the very late 80s pretty much through to 2000 or so, people really huffed their own farts about the strength of our economy and we completely fell behind on any metric of competitiveness as a result
