Union participation in the US is like 10% or some poo poo? I get that if 10% of the electorate swung one way or the other it would make a difference, but how much of the electorate is a part of a union and actively gives a gently caress about that as they vote?

Bernie's base is the Youngs, and Young's haven't turned out at a higher-than-normal percentage yet in Iowa/New Hampshire. He's getting enough to win and all, but he's not changing the overall electoral makeup. I'm not making the HURF BLURF BERNIE SHOULD BE WINNING BY MORE argument, just a factual note that the Youngs still aren't voting enough.
