Danny Lemaster (CLU)  : This all seems a bit hasty, but again there’s a clear division between the top and the bottom. Clemens is good, but not nearly as good as he should be. Still, he’s a sight better than Jim Bunning… and Danny Lemaster has never pitched in the Super or SubPar leagues. Rajah can hit-: You’re goddamned right about that!: But Robinson is a much better fielder and no slouch with the bat.: I feel we’re selling the Buddy Myer platoons a bit short. Well, not the Myer/Bluege platoon, but the Myer/Sandberg one. : That’s reasonable, but even the better Myer pairing is going to struggle to hit as well as Roger, and Ryno’s defense is only going to be in 1/4th or so of the games.: Fair enough. With Appling DOOM PLATOON 3 is going to hit at least a little and still provide fantastic defense.: We may be underrating Cronin a bit, but I don’t think anyone is going to argue too much given his unpredictability on offense and his 1930s era appropriate glovework.: Likewise, Han-Ram can hit like a corner outfielder, but he fields like a DH. I'm pitching Jose DeLeon and Bob Tewksbury because they're cool, neither has a meaningful body of work in the SL, and I think both could work just fine. Jose DeLeon was rather hard to hit (career 7.4 H/9), strikes out a decent number of batters, and was a very good pitcher for years while playing for some truly just AWFUL teams. Bob Tewksbury was really easy to hit (career 10.2 H/9), but walked NOBODY EVER and I'm expecting him to basically function as a modern deadballer while playing in front of my strong infield defense. (Nevermind Cabrera at 1B and to a somewhat lesser extent, Brett at 3B). Tewks also once humiliated height-of-his-powers Mark McGwire with a 44mph eephus in separate at bats. If they suck I can always plug in the Kevin Brown I've got in long relief. But I've already had my fun with Kevin Brown. Let me enjoy this, ok?
