New La Roux album is out. Her voice still rules but the songs are so boring and not memorable at all. Where's whoever produced In For The Kill and Bulletproof? Now those were some real loving bangers.

I go up and down with Ms. Eyelash, I think she’s an interesting artist but I also think the whisper thing is starting to bore me. It didn’t bother me in “everything I wanted”, it had more emotion than this. I don’t think this is a bad song, but it’s not very memorable either. At least it’s better than Sam Smiths effort (not that it was a hard bar) I do love the lyrics though, “just goes to show that the blood you bleed is just the blood you own” “You were my life, but life is far away from being fair”

I saw Carly Rae Jepsen live in Oslo at her last concert of the European tour. Jesus Christ almighty, what a show. I've loved pretty much all her album releases, but I've never seen clips or watched any of her live perfomances before. She turned it the gently caress up, and knew how to control an audience and have a huge stage presence. That was amazing, and I hope that everyone here has an opportunity to go see her live at some point.

It's already absolutely massive thanks to being a TikTok trend and it's been getting a tonne of radio play for at least a month in the UK  but yeah Doja Cat has been putting out great stuff for a few years now.
