Amazingly good: only limitation is that you have to wait until enough people have contributed to a particular video in order for it to work, so it doesn't work when something is just released.

It's weird how some sponsorships I can stand (for example, I don't really mind Brian Brushwood hawking boner pills and earbuds at me), but others set me off the wall (like Nick Nocturne or Reighbot bitching about me to buy Nord VPN or whatever). There's fundimentally no difference between the two, but I react almost violently to some.

At least NordVPN is a useful service. It's when I start hearing people shill for CBD oils or dick pills that I get mad.

That's one of my go-tos, but my favorite was when I got fired from a job and had to do a walk of shame after being escorted out by security, and what popped into my head was Mr. Butlertron:

"Don't cry. Just make it to the parking garage."

The security guy got real weirded out when I started giggling as I walked away.

Pastmaster was a season 1 villain, in fact he was the first villain in the first episode

Season 2 the animation got a bit "darker" and started rounding out the cast, I'm assuming for toy marketing purposes. They added a female SWAT officer that kept showing up to the battles and went with such classic edgy 90s cartoon plots as "Aliens try to conquer the world"

In my defense it's been like 20-30 drat years and most of my memories of that show border on being fever dreams outside of "bitchin' theme song" and "gently caress I really want a toy of that jet" and the related "gently caress I REALLY want a toy of that fanart interpretation of the jet as a Macross-style transforming robot" at this point.

Ghost Leviathan posted:

IIRC the original idea that the network shot down was the invaders trying to conquer the city were humans.

This would have been amazing, but given the reason you use aliens and other non-human characters is to get around standards and practices on violence it's not surprising that got shut down.

Reminded recently how the webcomic Strong Female Protagonist apparently lost a lot of steam after that, since all the social commentary analogies it was based around (with superpowers being various forms of privilege, apparently) was suddenly seriously rethought after the election and is probably still being contested, to say the least.

His performative liberal feminism is getting weaker. Now he’s making a movie about how suffrage is good and how women should be allowed formal education. Probably with at least one shower scene and eight minutes of feet.

Whedon uses it a lot as visual shorthand for vulnerability/innocence (the dolls in the Dollhouse, Fred shortly after her introduction in Angel, River most of the time).

There's nothing like the introduction to Death Proof where Tarantino just opens on woman's feet before cutting to another shot which has a woman resting barefoot below a picture of a woman resting barefoot.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was him just giving up on any pretense of trying to even vaguely hide his fetish.

If I’m remembering correctly, the easiest way to predict if Summer was about to do some stuntwork/fighting was if she was suddenly wearing boots.
