You know, it really surprised me that pro wrestling and public attitudes to it haven't quite yet evolved to be as queer/progressive as gently caress. It's got ridiculous outlandish pageantry with people performing in a variety of almost cartoonish personas and is theatrical at its core. Maybe I'm just conflating because the only other spectator sport I generally care to watch, roller derby, shares a lot of the theatricality and persona-based stuff and is basically a huge draw for the rainbow crowd, I dunno. Regardless, the fact that one promotion has both a transgender women's champion and a drag queen wrestler who is positioned as a face, that another has a woman as their world champion, and that intergender matches in general are becoming more of a thing as of late, is heartening. Can you imagine any of that happening just 20 years ago during the Attitude era where the women's (sorry, Diva's) division consisted of bullshit like bra and panties matches?

Low end mortality rate is more like 0.8. It's .4% outside of Hubei province. I'd recommend at least reading the wiki page on COVID-19 instead of non-verified randos on twitter chasing clout. And can you believe it, her doomsday predictions line up exactly with her political stance on healthcare!

Don’t worry, I’ll stick with them over randos on Twitter or Wikipedia (BTW even Wikipedia says 1-3%). I couldn’t find anything from the CDC saying anything like 40-70% and they were both like “uh...no idea where that comes from”
