I have Hitman 1 on steam (the episodic one not the one from like 15+ years ago). I’ve heard if you have hitman 2 it upgrades it or enhances or something like that. Is it worth it and what hitman 2 pack do I need to get for this?

It should detect the 2016 content and upgrade you for free. You might need to open/close Hitman 2 for this to work, I don't remember. The new engine: has briefcase, adds cover as a mechanic, other misc upgrades. Vanilla Hitman 2016 is extremely good, so while you won't need the upgrades they're nice to have.

Unless you are adamant about having 100% of the content, because Season 1 in Season 2 does not have all the Escalations that Season 1 by itself had. Escalations give you another reason to replay a level after you've already played it dozens of time unlocking all the challenges. How the whole Hitman 1 to Hitman 2 thing works from memory: If you have the Goty edition of Hitman 1, everything imports into Hitman 2. All levels. Nothing additional to buy If you only have base Hitman 1, you only get the base levels (plus the summer remixes). No Goty-remix levels. You can buy the Goty Legacy Pack Upgrade to get the Goty levels If you don't have Hitman 1, you get nothing from the first game. Only Hitman 2 levels. You can buy the Goty Legacy Pack to get all the Hitman 1 content. The Hitman 1 stuff is all levels from the first game, with some changes to make use of the new mechanics in Hitman 2. I believe some of the escalation challenges didn't make it over and they only re-ran a few of the Hitman 1 elusive targets, not all of them. Saves don't carry over though, so if you want to play Hitman 1 and haven't, do it in Hitman 2.

I think they're just hoping to recoup their investment at this point. It took a while for their previous game, Renowned Explorers, to catch on so maybe the same thing will happen here. Anyway, I feel like Godhood deserves more attention and I would recommend it to anyone who would be interested in a unique strategy game.

Note that you don't even need to download Hitman 2016. Just get the Hitman 2 demo. You can play all of Hitman 2016 content in the free Hitman 2 demo. You need to launch the Hitman 2 demo once, and then the 2016 levels will be added as Hitman 2 DLC to your Steam account while the game is running. The content is a ~30 gigabyte download, so you should do this now so the game is ready when you want to start playing. If you've done this correctly, you should have a bunch of DLC for Hitman 2 titled "HITMAN(tm) LEGACY: [location name]".

I know it was a couple of pages ago, but please do not use the steam thread for discussions on historical events involving the Red Army or immediately jump to implying people are nazis due to any reservations they have about the way people are portrayed in games involving historical events. It is right to be wary and skeptical of what is essentially entertainment that usually has bias and also only very broadly touches on important topics. Been knocking down the postgame levels in Celeste and that's definitely a game that makes you feel amazing when you finally blaze through a tough part. The last section of the Summit C-side made me feel like a bona fide speedrunner because the only alternative was death. Or 200 deaths, as it were. Creating a new Steam account here and I have a question. I currently live in Europe but all my payment methods that I would prefer to use are back in the US. I'm looking at the Steam support page here - https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6627-QSNM-5276&l=english#othercountry I'm assuming when creating my new account and I choose "United States" as country of residence that I'll have issues when I actually try to make a purchase since I'll be shown in a different country? I've been playing Tales from Candlekeep and was considering Gloomhaven which kinda looks like more of the same. How does it compare? Same game, different looks? Tougher? Better? Black Desert Online sure does let you go hog wild on these sliders huh E: this game is....something alright. As soon as you load in there are a gajillion menus exploding all over everywhere, and my first quest was to murder these little foxes that made the most horrific sound when I killed them
