So the Washington State case that was reported yesterday or whenever was a high school student—is it confirmed that the kid died today or was it another person? Cause if the virus starts killing young people too instead of predominately the elderly, I might actually start taking it a little seriously.

It hasn't been mentioned here for whatever reason, probably because the people there are crazy/racist/fascist, etc. They have a lot of poo poo going around about how this is a bio weapon and created by the US, stolen by China, released intentionally, nothing to do with bats, etc. It's very interesting, but don't touch the poop. Not sure that anyone here will readily admit that they visit 4chan. It seems like different spheres of the internet that don't touch, like oil and water. Anyway, it's interesting to see how many doomsayers there are posting there about stocking up, buying guns for home defense, etc. I do think that America's culture is much different than china's. Once this poo poo blows up and we have 100k+ motherfuckers infected, poo poo will be very real. The stock market surely will not go up at that point. The politicians are more interested in the economy and productivity AND they know that no measures really work, so what's there to do? Really the best advice anyone has given is wash your hands. That's it? Be healthy and don't die? Sounds like a plan, I guess.

I get what you're saying, that america is a powder keg and something like this could cause right wing militia dudes to start "patrolling" their towns, and doing bad poo poo. It won't happen. It might be a grim year, but the virus would have to be much much worse than it is right now for society to break down like that. Most likely it just means a big downturn, and a grim year, and maybe 2021 or 2022 there will be lots of unrest, like 2011. We got a patient here in Salt Lake that was moved up from St George a few days ago. From the photo that local news posted he looks to be in his 60s, overweight. Not sure what his prognosis is but it will be an interesting thing to keep tabs on

No poo poo I've developed a very minor (in how sick makes me feel at least) cold that has a little bit of lung infecting tinge to it (small amounts of mucus coughed up from time to time) the thing that makes it a little different is that "sick" feeling, the one that's like a "tired/drained" sick feeling, comes and goes in waves.... which is different than any cold I've ever had God drat it I probably actually have Coronavirus
