I don't think I can really get into any trouble here. I don't work there anymore and all I signed was an employee handbook saying I won't share. But gently caress em' Operator was 'sleeping' (he was later fired for smoking outside his cab which is probably what was going on here) when a saw split in half and got caught in the log. The sharp chains beneath it kept pushing it through until the hydraulic tensioner tripped out and stopped the line. I've seen a bunch of saw wrecks, snake-outs, sharp-chain strikes, and straight up blown-in-half saws but I never saw one stay in the log and get pushed down the line, operator did a proper job on this one. I don't know how big of a room they were in, but 25kg of dry ice in an average living room will raise the concentration of CO2 to around 17%. Ten percent is considered immediately dangerous to life. And that's assuming it is evenly distributed around the space; CO2 is heavier than air, and if the people were in a pool their heads would be just a few inches above the surface of the water, meaning they could be breathing nearly pure carbon dioxide even in a much larger space. Stupid stupid stupid

I honestly don't think so, I think it's the opposite. He had a career resurgence with the John Wick movies and all of a sudden instead of him being "oh yeah remember that guy" he's a hot property and all of these back-burner ideas are being picked up. Also he lives really frugally compared to a lot of people in his position. They're all sequels because Hollywood is incredibly conservative about new properties, of course.

It's a shame cause they make highly idiosyncratic movies/shows that are highly appealing to a very small audience but also cost a poo poo load of money.

Oh and carbon dioxide in water turns into carbonic acid too so whatever they didn't breath in above the water's surface was probably what was responsible for the chemical burns a couple of people had too. Well, maybe? I'm not a chemist but apparently that doesn't matter.
