We never really recovered from 2008 and shitloads of people are dependent on underpaid service work, which means when ten million of them get laid off they have no savings. The US is going to change again, like it did from 9 11. No idea how, but major lasting change is almost certain. I hope to hell we end up with UHC when its all over. What a time to be alive. US Gen X has seen a lot actually, I remember before the internet. Those of us who live 20 more years will see perhaps massive global warming changes- who knows what's coming😳

Despite not knowing the numbers, i think it's safe to say there are probably new cases in most American communities. From this, it is actually pretty simple to estimate what percentage of the population will be wiped out. Based on the known deaths reported so far and all the other stories, it is safe to say at least 200,000 people have been infected so far and by June at least 2 million will die, mostly in the suburbs.
