I've never actually played either of them, but scanning the rules a while ago I didn't see any obvious glaring faults. (At least no worse than some other, larger mini wargames.) But they always appealed to me conceptually because while I love wargaming I'm 1) poor and busy and 2) I have a nephew so I've interacted more with legos over the last 3 years of my life since I was like 8. The only way they could make the construction materials more convenient is if it was based around empty liquor bottles and regret.
